# Brok UI block: Testimonials Tweets (`testimonials-tweets`)
A tweet-styled testimonial wall: a heading and subheading above a responsive masonry of <x-ui.twitter-card> posts (non-interactive, no view count), each with an optional verified-buyer badge slotted in.
Brok UI is a Laravel Blade registry. `ui:add` copies this block into the app as plain Blade the app owns; it composes installed `<brok:*>` primitives and semantic design tokens.
## Install
```bash
php artisan ui:add blocks/testimonials-tweets
```
## Render it
```blade
<x-blocks.testimonials-tweets />
```
## Props
- `heading` (string, default `Don\'t take our word for it`) — Section heading.
- `subheading` (string, default `See what developers and teams are posting about shipping with a UI system they fully own.`) — Supporting copy under the heading.
- `tweets` (mixed|null, default `null`) — Post entries with name, handle, text, time, engagement counts, verified flag and buyer flag; null falls back to sample data.
## Use when
- Presenting testimonials styled as social media posts in a masonry wall, optionally with a verified-buyer badge.
- Reinforcing authenticity when quotes were sourced from social media.
## Avoid when
- Presenting testimonials collected directly rather than from social posts; use testimonials-grid or testimonials-masonry instead.
## Rules
- Render the installed block with `<x-blocks.testimonials-tweets />` and pass data through its props; edit the copied file only for structural changes.
- Keep the semantic design tokens (`bg-background`, `text-muted-foreground`); never swap in raw colour utilities.
- Keep the `data-slot` attributes and the logical (start/end) spacing so the markup still mirrors under `dir="rtl"`.

Guidance
Use when
- Presenting testimonials styled as social media posts in a masonry wall, optionally with a verified-buyer badge.
- Reinforcing authenticity when quotes were sourced from social media.
Avoid when
- Presenting testimonials collected directly rather than from social posts; use testimonials-grid or testimonials-masonry instead.
Anti-patterns
- Do not replace semantic props with conflicting utility classes.
- Do not remove labels, focus styles, or state attributes.
- Anatomy
Usage
Render the block as a component, passing data where useful:
<x-blocks.testimonials-tweets />
Built from primitives
This block composes installed <brok:*> primitives and semantic design
tokens only — it does not reimplement any primitive. Re-theme it (light, dark, admin, customer) by
editing CSS variables; flip the preview to RTL to confirm it mirrors.
Source
The exact, editable file ui:add writes
into your app. The preview above renders this same source — there are no preview-only blocks.
