Laravel Starter
The golden-path starter is a complete Laravel application and the supported architecture reference. It includes the backend, editable Brok UI, tests, CI, and deployment defaults.
Note
Use the Laravel Starter for a new application. Use the Starter Kit bundle when an existing application only needs the curated UI files.
Create a project
The Laravel installer creates the application in one command.
laravel new billing-admin --using=jml-agency/laravel-starter
cd billing-admin
npm install
npm run build
composer run dev
Register an account, then grant administrator access explicitly:
php artisan app:make-admin [email protected]
Included contracts
| Area | Default |
|---|---|
| Authentication | Fortify, email verification, reset, and confirmation |
| Authorization | Roles, gates, invoice policy, and scoped queries |
| Application UI | Responsive shell, navigation, theme, forms, notifications, and Livewire table |
| Operations | Safe errors, request IDs, Brok telemetry, and readiness checks |
| Quality | PHPUnit, Larastan, Pint, Vite build, and CI |
| Deployment | FrankenPHP, PostgreSQL, Redis, worker, scheduler, and health checks |
Verify and deploy
composer check
npm run build
php artisan ui:doctor
The production environment template uses secure sessions, PostgreSQL, Redis, asynchronous queues, a delivery mailer, and sampled observability. The deployment must pass its readiness gate before it receives traffic.
php artisan app:production-check
Warning
Pre-launch status.
The laravel new --using=jml-agency/laravel-starter command works only after maintainers
create the public jml-agency/laravel-starter mirror, publish
jml/brok, and configure the split token. The monorepo source and release
workflows are ready for that one-time activation.
