# Brok UI block: Team (`team-grid`)
A centered heading and subheading above a responsive 2-to-4-column grid of member cards, each with a large avatar, name, role badge, one-line bio, and a row of aria-labelled social icon buttons.
Brok UI is a Laravel Blade registry. `ui:add` copies this block into the app as plain Blade the app owns; it composes installed `<brok:*>` primitives and semantic design tokens.
## Install
```bash
php artisan ui:add blocks/team-grid
```
## Render it
```blade
<x-blocks.team-grid />
```
## Props
- `eyebrow` (string, default `Our team`) — Small label shown above the heading.
- `heading` (string, default `Meet the people behind the product`) — Section heading.
- `subheading` (string, default `A small, senior team that ships fast and sweats the details — from design tokens to keyboard focus states.`) — Supporting copy under the heading.
- `members` (mixed|null, default `null`) — Team member entries with name, role, initials, bio and social links; null falls back to sample data.
## Use when
- Showing a straightforward grid of team member cards with avatar, role and bio.
- Using it as the default team section when filtering, carousels or department grouping are not needed.
## Avoid when
- Needing department filtering; use team-filterable instead. Needing a department-grouped layout; use team-departments instead.
## Rules
- Render the installed block with `<x-blocks.team-grid />` and pass data through its props; edit the copied file only for structural changes.
- Keep the semantic design tokens (`bg-background`, `text-muted-foreground`); never swap in raw colour utilities.
- Keep the `data-slot` attributes and the logical (start/end) spacing so the markup still mirrors under `dir="rtl"`.

Guidance
Use when
- Showing a straightforward grid of team member cards with avatar, role and bio.
- Using it as the default team section when filtering, carousels or department grouping are not needed.
Avoid when
- Needing department filtering; use team-filterable instead. Needing a department-grouped layout; use team-departments instead.
Anti-patterns
- Do not replace semantic props with conflicting utility classes.
- Do not remove labels, focus styles, or state attributes.
Usage
Render the block as a component, passing data where useful:
<x-blocks.team-grid />
Built from primitives
This block composes installed <brok:*> primitives and semantic design
tokens only — it does not reimplement any primitive. Re-theme it (light, dark, admin, customer) by
editing CSS variables; flip the preview to RTL to confirm it mirrors.
Source
The exact, editable file ui:add writes
into your app. The preview above renders this same source — there are no preview-only blocks.
